Using matching pairs of user groups and page labels
Using matching pairs of user groups and page labels
You can decide that a rule should only apply if user groups and page labels have the same name. This can greatly reduce the number of rules you create.
This option looks at the user and page pairs you have specified in the user and page filters. It then checks if there are any instances where the names of user groups are the same as the names of page labels. The rule then only applies to those matching pairs.
The option does not consider other filters, such as the space name, space key or user email filters.
Procedure
- Create or edit a rule.
- Select User will be assigned to train if they belong to a user group with a name identical to a page label.
- Choose Save.
Example
For example, you have the following user groups and page labels:
User groups | Page labels |
---|---|
trn_employees trn_managers trn_hr | trn_documents trn_policies trn_employees trn_managers trn_hr |
The rule will only apply to match the following:
User groups | Page labels |
---|---|
trn_employees | trn_employees |
trn_managers | trn_managers |
trn_hr | trn_hr |
